Alysa had a beautiful session in our Cape Girardeau studio that I am so excited to share! I’ve had the joy of photographing this couple’s wedding and their family along the way, so getting to document this next chapter of their growing family meant the world to me. And this time, we went all out!
Alyssa’s husband promised her she could go all in on her maternity photos ;) So we dreamed up three sets that Alyssa loved.
A Bright, All-White Floral Set
We opened with a soft, all-white set surrounded by bright, vibrant florals. The entire family was in this set, and everyone absolutely glowed. The kiddos are so excited for the new little one, and this was a time to celebrate that joy! There’s something about crisp white and blooming color together that feels like spring itself, fitting for a mama about to welcome new life. Alyssa absolutely glowed.
Pretty in Pink
Alyssa loves the color pink, so of course we gave her a set that was all hers. We wrapped her in flowing pink fabric and let her personality take over, bold, joyful, and unapologetically her. I must say PINK is your color!
Soft, Vogue-Worthy Blue & Tan Tulle
We finished the day with a dreamy baby-blue-and-tan tulle set that turned out downright vogue-worthy. Soft, editorial, and a little bit ethereal, the perfect close to a session that had a little bit of everything. Those black-and-whites still take my breath away!
From Bump to Baby
One of my very favorite things about this session is that it’s only the beginning. Alyssa chose my Bump to Baby package, which means I’ll be seeing this sweet family again soon for their newborn session, and then throughout the baby’s entire first year. Getting to watch a family I already love grow, frame by frame, is the greatest honor of this job.
