Natalie and Gabe were the sweetest clients, and we spent their engagement session at the stunning St. Mary’s of the Barrens in Perryville, Missouri. From the very first click, these two were all easy laughter, inside jokes, and that comfortable, giggly kind of love you only get with your favorite person.

A Picture-Perfect Setting at St. Mary’s of the Barrens

There’s a reason St. Mary’s of the Barrens is one of the most beautiful spots in Southeast Missouri. The historic architecture, the timeless grounds, that gorgeous light, it’s the kind of backdrop that makes you feel like you’ve stepped somewhere out of a story. But honestly? Natalie & Gabe could’ve been standing in a parking lot, and I still would’ve come home with my favorite gallery of the season. The setting was the cherry on top; they were the magic!

I’m beyond thrilled I get to photograph Natalie & Gabe’s 2027 wedding day! Getting to know a couple at their engagement session and then standing beside them as they say “I do” is one of the greatest gifts of this job. If their engagement session was this much fun, their wedding is going to be an absolute party. Count me all the way in!
